Funding
The
Shuar Health and Life History Project has been made
possible through the generous funding of a number of
federal granting agencies such as the National Science
Foundation, private foundations (Wenner-Gren
Foundation for Anthropological Research &
LSB Leakey
Foundation, the University of
Oregon, and collaborating agencies from
Ecuador. We have also worked closely with a number
of research collaborators in the US, including Leda
Cosmides and John
Tooby from UCSB and Thomas
McDade from Northwestern, who have helped to
support the research.
